To all our Lady Golfers,
Welcome to the 2012 Golf Season!
We have some really exciting events to look forward to this season. The events on the calendar have been moved a bit to allow for more even spacing throughout our golf season. Erin Robinson is excited about the new apparel in the golf shop and Kellie Galvin is really enthusiastic about the food and beverage from the everyday events to our special ladies tournaments. New this year will be some mentoring clinics early in our season, a Couples Member/Guest in August and a potential couples or ladies trip to Punta Cana or Napa Valley in early November. The golf shop will let us know the details as they are available. Also new this year, ladies can join the DWGA (Delaware Women’s Golf Association) and participate in their tournaments throughout the state. We are also excited to have Carolyn Fulmer and Carolyn Mendez helping out with our WGAP team this year and they have encouraging many ladies to sign up for our WGAP events in late April.
Thursday morning tee off times will remain the same, the 18-holers teeing off at 8:45AM, and the 9-holers at 9:00AM. There will be a light continental breakfast available until 11:00AM. The 9:30AM Saturday tee off times for ladies will remain the same. On Saturdays, if you don’t have a “game”, please come to the golf shop by 9am so the golf shop staff can place you in a group.
The internet will continue to be the source of information for Fieldstone Ladies Golf, but we will also advertise the events in the locker room on the bulletin boards. Sign up sheets for events will also be placed in the lockers rooms, if you do not prefer to sign up online. We are hoping that this improved form of communication will encourage more ladies to play in our events. Look for more event information as our Ladies Golf handbook becomes available soon. Again this year the Ladies Golf Blog (select “Golf”, the “Ladies Blog”) will be available from the Fieldstone website, look to the blog for some latest golf tips posted by our golf professionals.

Please fill out the FIELDSTONE LADIES FORM below and return to Fieldstone by April 7th. You can either send a check made out to Fieldstone Golf Club or have it charged to your account: $60.00 (18 Holes Ladies) or $30.00 (9 Hole Ladies) Entry fee will go toward the weekly prize winners plus birdie and ringer board winners.
Don’t forget to also sign up for Opening Day on Saturday, April 14th. This is considered a “major” tournament and will require a separate entry fee.
