History Of Bagpiper Logo
The bagpiper has been an iconic part of Fieldstone’s special atmosphere and intimate charm since the clubs inception. The traditional songs of “The Piper” have played an integral role in every major event since the club opened for golf on June 15th, 1999. The Club’s Grand Opening Ceremony, each of our 100 plus Member-Guest Events, and numerous special occasions have all enjoyed the magical ambiance created by our tremendous team of bagpipers. For many who visit our club the bagpiper is associated with Friday sunsets at Fieldstone. The sounds of the bagpipes have echoed throughout Fieldstone’s 184 acres every in season Friday evening since the club's inception.
The development of a new logo has been a club initiative for a little over a year. We were fortunate to collaborate in this undertaking with world renowned golf artist Lee Wybranski. Lee is one of the premier artists working in golf today. He has been commissioned to create drawings and paintings for many of the finest clubs and organizations in the game. These include many of the marquee clubs in the world including Cypress Point Club, Pine Valley Golf Club and The Old Course at St Andrews. In addition, Lee works annually for the governing bodies of the game creating classic, collectable work on behalf of The R&A, PGA of America and United States Golf Association.
“The Piper” will serve as Fieldstone’s primary merchandising logo and also be used on other club amenities.
